Domestic Long Hair (long coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Young
Prudence is the baby of her siblings. She came to us with a stubborn upper respiratory infection and is used to being poked, prodded, held close, and snuggled tightly. She is now a healthy, happy, and feisty girl who loves to share her space with her people. After a day of napping with her siblings, she is at the head of the pack to greet her foster family when they come home. She has appointed herself the official household routine manager. Overseeing the production of food; ensuring water is fresh and cold, and making sure her people maintain good oral hygiene. This girl wants to be where the action is! She is a goofy and fun-loving gal whose zoomies include random summersaults and high-speed sibling chases. Like her siblings, she loves toys and is always up to chase a toy her people provide. When it comes to snuggling, she is a master of her craft. Sleeping in the bed with her people and her dog friends, and wanting to share a pillow and breath with her people when she is feeling especially lovey. This girl is a purr box! She will purr at the vet's office when the doctor is examining her, when her people talk to her, or whenever she thinks she has an opportunity to be pet. Prudence is a pampered princess who has never met a stranger or encountered a dangerous situation. She puts so much trust in humans that she is often underfoot; not learning to get out of the way and quickly forgiving being stepped on. She also has developed a game of playing "trust leap," in which she will randomly jump at her humans when she wants to be held (luckily, she has always been caught) or rudely attempt to climb up legs. Despite getting in trouble, her need to be held has not swayed her. Prudence has grown up with other cats and small, friendly dogs. Her ideal home would be a place that has plenty of friends for her to hang out with and humans who have patience and who can meet the demands of a high maintenance snuggle monster. She is an absolute joy and enhances our lives every day! Come meet her and fall in love with this wonderful kitten today! At Laramie Animal Welfare Society, the first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website www.laramieanimals.org. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by our adoption team which typically takes 7+ days. Keep in mind, the animal you’re interested in when applying may be adopted and no longer available by the time your application is approved. We do not place animals on hold. Pending approval, your application is valid for 6 months. Also pending approval, you will receive contact information, so that you may inquire about the personalities of specific animals. Adoptions for individual animals will occur by private adoption appointment. Because we are 100% foster-based, appointments are scheduled pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Should you want to proceed with the adoption, a brief appointment will occur at our adoption center to sign adoption paperwork, receive medical records, and pay the adoption fee.
**Dog/Puppy applications -
Because of the large volume of dog/puppy applications we are receiving these applications may take longer to process, please be patient. We do not do first come first serve but we place the dog/puppy in the best suited home. If you have questions about the Dog/Puppy process please email lawsdogprogram@gmail.com**
