If you are looking for a kitten that is playful, loving, and downright adorable, Shanghai is for you! She is a ball of energy and forms INCREDIBLY deep bonds with those she loves... human, feline or canine. Best friends are forever is her motto. She's strong but gentle, enjoys some snuggle times, but when it's time to play... outta the way if you're not gonna join her! She's is quite adept at entertaining herself and would do well as a solo kitty or as an addition to your existing fur family. She does prefer the company of her female feline foster friends over the males and gets along just fine with the foster-dog. Shanghai has bold, gray tabby stripes and is a striking beauty! She's not terribly vocal, unless it's meal-time. If you're looking for a BFF, this is your girl! At Laramie Animal Welfare Society, the first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website www.laramieanimals.org. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by our adoption team which typically takes 7+ days. Keep in mind, the animal you’re interested in when applying may be adopted and no longer available by the time your application is approved. We do not place animals on hold. Pending approval, your application is valid for 6 months. Also pending approval, you will receive contact information, so that you may inquire about the personalities of specific animals. Adoptions for individual animals will occur by private adoption appointment. Because we are 100% foster-based, appointments are scheduled pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Should you want to proceed with the adoption, a brief appointment will occur at our adoption center to sign adoption paperwork, receive medical records, and pay the adoption fee.

Because of the large volume of dog/puppy applications we are receiving these applications may take longer to process, please be patient.
